I grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, and now live in Brooklyn, New York. I am an editor at a financial news site, but I will not talk about work here. I have other, better things to talk about, including crafty things (knitting, making dresser drawers into shelves, reupholstering kitchen chairs), yummy things (particularly cooking, baking, and eating them), things I buy (often but not always online), and funny things (such as jokes I write myself). This is guaranteed to be one of the most interesting and hilarious blogs you’ve ever read. In addition, I am widely considered to be the world’s greatest living writer, so be prepared for some rad phrase-turning.

I concur that this person is the greatest living writer, a hilarious jokester, and a most delightful creature in general.
Why do you always yell at me when I tell you that you are “The World’s Greatest Living Writer?” As only a Dad can, I love you anyway.
